Today at BN Do It Yourself, we are going to be learning how to make make adorable eyelet shorts. These bad boys are too adorable. You can wear them with leggings or on their own and have fun with the designs and patterns. I can already tell this is one for the fashion books.
Without further a-do, let’s follow actress and DIY guru, Brandhyze Stanley of Frugal-nomics.com as she shows us how a combination of some old shorts, lace seams, a needle & thread, some glue and a pair of scissors can create the perfect pair of shorts....
What you need
1. Old Shorts
2. Lace Seams
3. A pair of scissors
4. Fabric Glue
5. A needle & thread (preferable the same colour of the lace fabric)
How to
Step 1
Take a strip of lace seam and measure it around the circumference of one thigh. Cut it and add a line of glue to the edge and set in place. It is better to p;ace the seam close the end of the shorts so some of it can hang over the edge for a better look. Take note to make sure the seams end on the inner thigh for a neat look.

Step 2
Continue to place seams on each other until you get to the top of the shorts. Make sure to place them evenly for a neat look. As you get to the waist of the shorts, be sure to measure properly and align them carefully with each length.
And that’s it. Simple right? Well don’t forget to comment below and we will see you next weekend. Have a beautiful day.
